Land Planning & Development provides an excellent foundation for those wanting a career in planning and resource management, particularly relating to the subdivision and administration of land.
It differs from other NZ planning degrees in that it emphasises engineering design, land administration from both a Pakeha and Mäori perspective, and Resource Management Act processes. It encompasses the practical aspects of planning and planning law.
This major is available for the Bachelor of Science (BSc).
