Economics & Statistics

Economics & Statistics

Economics & Statistics combines economic and statistical methodologies, and models economic, financial and other phenomena and data.

Economics & Statistics combines papers from its 2 contributing disciplines, which have natural links between them. For example, Econometrics is a core strand of Economics that develops and applies statistical techniques suited to the nature of economic and financial data.

This major is available for the Bachelors of Commerce (BCom) and Science (BSc) respectively.
