Otago Choice is for matching users’ skills and interests with the 106 Bachelor subjects
that students can ‘major’ (specialise) in at
the University of Otago.
Development
The 26 criteria were created by a University working party during
2007-8.
The 106 subjects were described on the 26 criteria by subject experts
from across the University.
Info about the subjects is from the University’s course guides.
The software is ‘powered by’ 1000Minds software, which applies the PAPRIKA (Potentially
All Pairwise RanKings
of all possible Alternatives) method for determining criteria weights.
